We make sure we are effective by getting clear about what the problem is. Using ‘Design Thinking’ we uncover the day-to-day unarticulated challenges facing customers, and in true partnership with our clients we will strategise, conceptualise, prototype, test and evaluate possible solutions.
From whiteboarding new concepts through to long-term support, our aim is to generate customer value for startups, SMEs, and large corporates, by designing purposeful applications, services, products, and platforms.
Whether it is a website, eCommerce store, web app, voice assistant skill, mobile app, service integration, automation, or any other digital product, we are Agilists. We aren't dogmatic about any specific flavour of ‘Agile’, but we adamantly believe the four fundamental agile values assist the delivery of successful customer outcomes.
Where suitable we opt for modern and native cloud architectures, such as Serverless technologies and Microservices running on Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud. Doing so increases agility, innovation, security, and compliance. To showcase Serverless technology, we built the entire Switchur Home Automation system to run on an AWS Serverless stack.
It's inevitable that we'll soon be able to control most of our devices with our gestures and voice. Since 2011 and the introduction of Siri, voice assistants have become one of the fastest growing hi-tech consumer trends across the globe. Despite this rapid rise, it's still considered a relatively immature technology, and is anticipated to evolve far beyond what is possible today.
We're also adamant that more advanced gestural UI will become ubiquitous. Touch interfaces have normalised finger scrolling, swiping, pinching, tapping, tilting, and even shaking. We have smartphones and computers today that are equipped with powerful cameras and sensors for eye tracking and recognising facial expressions. Game-changing advanced gestural UI is on the horizon and has the potential to become embedded in our everyday tasks.
